What this platform is
indiahousing.rent is a community-built rent transparency map for India. Anyone can pin their actual rent anonymously. There are no brokers, no listings, no accounts.
Community data — not professional advice
All rent data on this platform is submitted voluntarily by members of the public. We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of any pin. Do not rely on this data as professional financial, legal, or real-estate advice. Treat it as one input among many when making housing decisions.
When you add a pin
- You confirm the information you submit is genuine and reflects your actual rental situation.
- You do not submit false, misleading, or commercially motivated data.
- You do not submit content that is defamatory, obscene, or violates any applicable law.
- You grant indiahousing.rent a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your submission on the platform.
- You understand submissions are anonymous and cannot be individually traced back to you.
Reporting and removal
If you believe a pin contains false or misleading information, use the flag/report function. Pins that receive multiple reports are reviewed and may be hidden. We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion.
Prohibited uses
- Scraping or bulk-downloading data for commercial use
- Using the platform to seed fake listings or manipulate rent perception
- Automated submissions or bot activity
- Any activity that disrupts the platform or harms other users
No warranties
The platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, data accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, indiahousing.rent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or reliance on its data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
